BEHIND THE SCENES TOUR OF RARE LEMUR BREEDING CENTRE

get up close and personal with some of the lemurs.

Due to the immense popularity of this fund raising activity we will continue running these very special tours.

This year staff at Linton Zoo have come up with an idea to improve their fund-raising ability by allowing visitors to come face to face with these fantastic creatures and at the same time educate visitors on the importance of the conservation projects which take place both in the wild and in captivity.

The VIP tours will be available for a limited few and the short tour will enable visitors to get very close to our Lemurs and some other Madagascan animals.

Some lemurs will delight in jumping all over you whilst others will be happy to take food directly from your hand.

Tours are at 11.30am and 1.30pm at weekends

Tickets are £10 per person.

All of the money raised will go directly to wild lemur conservation projects which we support and fund.

Bookings can be made on the day if space is available.

To guarantee your place payments can be taken by debit card over the phone, (01223 891308), you can also pre-pay for your admission tickets, saving you time on the day of your visit. Prepayments will not be refundable should you be unable to attend your booked time slot.

Some of this experience takes place under cover and so is not affected by weather, but you need to bear in mind that the rest of the zoo is an outdoor attraction, if it should be raining you need to come prepared with waterproof clothes and footwear.

Children under 14 must be accompanied by a participating adult. We regret that children under 2 will not be able to enter the Rare Lemur Breeding Centre.

We are unable to guarantee which particular species of lemur will be happy to participate each day!
