This day is ideal for anyone with an interest in animal photography.

It doesn't matter what camera or what level of experience you have, this is the perfect way to learn how to make the most of your camera and how to produce fantastic animal shots, as well as enjoying a wonderful day out at the zoo!

Meet and Greet, Register and Safety Briefing, Outline of day
Photography advice, camera settings and field techniques

Owls/Birds of Prey and Reptiles
THE BIG CATS - Lions and Tigers
Break for Refreshments & Questions (Light refreshments will be provided).
Lemurs, Leopards and free time to revisit selected animals and rest of Zoo.
AFTER HOURS - Tiger or lion feed and finish

Please note that due to the nature of this day Linton Zoo & Image Solutions Photography can not guarantee conditions that are out of their control, such as weather and animals behaviour.

 

The Linton Zoo Photography Day Competition could see you receiving a winners certificate, 1 years unlimited admission entrance ticket to Linton Zoo, annual sponsorship of your favourite zoo animal and have your winning photo made into a beautiful canvas.

For the more experience photographer recommended equipment is:
Digital or film SLR camera or a high end compact (please bring your manual)
Ideal lens range would be 100MM – 300MM
Spare memory cards/film
Spare battery

Optional Equipment:
Shorter or longer focal length lenses
Tele-converters - if you have them
Monopod or tripod
UV filter
Compact Camera
